Very rare original Dutch 1972 LP by jazz legend Gijs Hendriks. See scan.
Tracks: Emptiness, Vers II // 15-49-BR, Influenza, Nine to four, Fata morgana, Exit. Superb funky bigband jazz including lots of loops and breaks for the beatdiggers. Includes the blaxploitation kind of track "Emptiness"!!!
Musicians include Gijs Hendriks (alto, tenor, baritone and soprano sax), Bart van Lier (trombone), Toon van Vliet (tenor sax), Rob van den Broeck: Fender piano, Herman Meyer (guitar), Wim Essed (bass), Eric Ineke (drums), Steve Boston (congas, percussion) and others.
ESSENTIAL ITEM FOR ANY EURO JAZZ FAN OR COLLECTOR !!!
Label: Polydor Medium 2441 037. Condition record/cover: vg+ (some marks/hairlines that play with some incidental light background noise or an occasional soft pop)/ex- (some edge- and ringwear, some brown spots on back). VERY RARE !!!
