We don't want to sell any records that skip, but sometimes things do not always appear as they seem. VISUAL EVALUATION IS A SUBJECTIVE PROCESS. We will try on our best way to accuratly describe what we see. The photos should help to assist your analyses. However, mistakes and differences of opinions happen. If record does not meet your criteria or your expectations, please contact us. A pleasant and successful transaction is far more important to us than profit from one specific sale. The majority of records we list are in previously owned and used condtion.

  REGARDING OUR COLLECTION:

Our father always been an passionate and avid collector of many forms of music, most records. I am selling off his collection of  records, cassettes, reel-to-reel tapes and some other music forms. I have over 5,000 items that I will be trying to sell online in the future. My father was collecting records for about 40 years.  and his wide variety of music collection is so varied, from classic, pop, soul, jazz, country to rock'n'roll music ....and the list goes on and on.... Like everything, old stereo equipment was replaced and I think, it's just time to let go this collection for somebody who still have passion for old records.

The Andromeda Strain is a 1971 science-fiction film, based on the novel published in 1969 by Michael Crichton about a team of scientists who investigate a deadly disease of extraterrestrial origin which causes rapid, fatal clotting of the blood. The film was directed by Robert Wise and starred Arthur Hill, James Olson, Kate Reid, and David Wayne. The film follows the book very closely. The special effects were designed by Douglas Trumbull. A young Michael Crichton makes a cameo appearance in a non-speaking role during the scene where Dr. Hall is told to break scrub because he has to report to Wildfire. The character of Dr. Peter Leavitt in the novel was replaced by a woman, Dr. Ruth Leavitt, in the film. In addition, the character of Charles Dutton in the film--played by Wayne--was named Burton in the novel (no reason was given for this name change). There is a strong feel for technology and government procedures and formalism. The main set, in bright primary colors, becomes increasingly claustrophobic as the four scientists work in isolation, interrupted only by disembodied voices of the computer or PA system. A single set was repainted to create all the color-coded corridors of Wildfire. Robert Wise filmed all the scenes that take place on a "level" and then the set was repainted. Wise would use this trick again in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. When filming the scene in the movie where Dr. Ruth Levitt has an epileptic seizure due to watching a blinking red light, care had to be taken when choosing the frequency of the blinking, so it was the least likely frequency to induce seizures among the theater audience. Comic relief is provided by George Mitchell as a town drunk who survives the "strain". At the end of the movie, the "strain" is carried out over the Pacific Ocean where cloud seeding causes the "strain" to be carried into salt water which kills the "strain". According to the IMDB, a mini-series version of the story will be released in 2008.Footage and stills from the movie were used in the first serial episode of the Six Million Dollar Man. The episode itself deals with a town where all the citizens have succumbed to some external force.

Muisc was compsed by Gil Melle (December 31, 1931 – October 28, 2004) was an artist, jazz musician and film composer. In the 1950s, Melle's paintings and sculptures were shown in New York galleries and he created the cover art for albums by Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and Sonny Rollins. Melle played the tenor and baritone saxophone with George Wallington, Max Roach, Tal Farlow, Oscar Pettiford, Ed Thigpen, Kenny Dorham and Zoot Sims.

As a film and television composer, Melle as one of the first to use electronic instruments (which he built himself), either alone or as an added voice among the string, wind, brass, and percussion sections of the orchestra. He was the first to compose a main theme for a television series arranged entirely for electronic instruments (Rod Serling's Night Gallery).

His film credits span 125 motion pictures including My Sweet Charlie, That Certain Summer, The Andromeda Strain, The Judge and Jake Wyler, several Columbo TV movies, Frankenstein: The True Story, and The Six Million Dollar Man.

Melle died of a heart attack at his home in Malibu, California.
