Jacket : EX

Die-cut cover has a unique, hexagonal "flower pod" pocket which houses the record, with no seam splits, writing or stickers. "Flower pod" edges have no wear, no tears or any tape but just a few, very soft creases on metallic flaps.

Stiff "chrome" cardboard layer shows no crease or damage, just a very light wear on the corners.

Unusual and delicate cover in overall excellent condition.

Vinyl : NM

Hexagonal vinyl disc is shiny, looks probably unplayed, and is stored in a clear plastic sleeve which includes a WARNING sticker instructing user to drop stylus manually, so it does not catch on the edge of the hexagonal record.

Catalogue/Label :

LP KAPP KRS 5513, original hexagonal shaped USA 1st pressing from 1971.

Black, deep grooved label, with silver lettering shows no wear, with no marks around the spindle hole, on both labels.

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light.

NM (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues.

VG+ Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
