Description
Gillman, is the group led by Paul Silvestre Gillman, Paul is a pioneer in the movement of Heavy Metal in Venezuela, beginning his musical career in the late 70's and being a vital part in the formation of legendary groups Power Age and Arkángel, To later form the band Gillman. Paul has been the opening act among others of famous groupings like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Van Halen, etc.
The present disc walks by a diversity of subjects, emphasizing "Dr. Kanoche", that is inspired in the history of a doctor of German origin of last name Knoche, settled in the Avila (mountain full of mystery and magic, which surrounds The capital of the country, Caracas), this doctor managed to rediscover the secrets of mummification.
Also noteworthy are the "Ladrolitico" and "F-27" themes, which reflect the social unrest experienced by the population of Venezuela in the late 80's, the product of more than a decade of wrong policies by the governments on duty.
