Super rare UK first pressing on the gold/red HMV record label.

The catalogue number is ALP 1479 .

The sleeve is VG+ with a small bit of laminate lifting. Nothing really. The disc plays as generally Excellent on side one though there is the odd bit of occasional surface noise. Absolutely nothing serious. Side two is better.nearly excellent+

This record is dedicated to the memory of Ginertte Neveu tragically killed in a plane crash in October 1949 along with her brother Jean who accompanies her on this record. Her other inseparable travelling companion, her Stradivarius violin survived undestroyed
