Description
Ginger Baker & Friends “Eleven Sides of Baker” 11-song TEST PRESSING LP released by ABC Records in 1977 on Columbia Records Productions Santa Maria labels. The matrix numbers in the dead wax appear that they were etched, crossed out and corrected. Here’s the info:
In one of the sides of the deadwax the etching shows “S1”, followed by a crossed out matrix number that appears to read “SA-7530” and followed by “- B - 1A”, and below this it reads “S1 SA-7532 - B - 1A” and to the right is an imprinted Masterdisk logo followed by the etched name “Joey”.

The vinyl is in excellent condition and has some wispy sleeve marks. My ceiling fan makes an appearance on the right side of the vinyl image and is not a condition issue. The single-sided info sheet is in very good condition with clear signs of aging, especially at the top edge and there’s some light bend at the top right edge that has caused a dogeared corner. The generic white cover is in good with a total of 5” of seam splitting, storage/ring wear, dinged corners and some staining to the back. As you’ll see in the photos the following is written in black pen at the top left and right corners of the front cover: “L.A. Pub.” And “SA 7532 A/B”.
