IN EIGENER SACHE : Ich bin seit über 30 Jahren Plattensammler-und Hörer, aber kein HÄNDLER! Alle von mir angebotenen Scheiben sind aus meiner eigenen Sammlung und ich kenne deshalb ihren Zustand auch sehr genau, weil ich sie vor dem Verkauf komplett durchhöre! EIN WORT DAZU: Seit längerem grassiert auf EBAY eine inflationäre Häufung von LP´s, die mit mint- oder near mint bewertet werden - dies heisst also, sie spielen ohne Nebengeräusche oder so gut wie ohne. Trotzdem wird es vielen so gehen wie mir, dass die meisten dieser Scheiben dann dennoch leichte Nebengeräusche haben - kein Wunder - kein Händler hat die Zeit, jede von ihm angebotene LP vor dem Verkauf ganz zu hören und Sachen wie leichte Pressfehler, Grundrauschen, fiese Kratzer in Rillenrichtung oder vereinzelte leichte Knacker sieht man auch unter dem stärksten Licht nicht! ABSOLUT CLEAN SPIELENDE PLATTEN SIND WIRKLICH SUPERSELTEN (erfahrungsgemäß vielleicht eine von 500)! WER ABSOLUT CLEANES SPIEL OHNE JEDES NEBENGERÄUSCH WILL, SOLLTE SICH VIELLEICHT DOCH CD´s KAUFEN.

TITEL: GINHOUSE - Same (1971) - die einzige Platte des Trios mit dem Gitarristen/Sänger GEOFF SHARKEY kommt als megarare australische 1st Press TOPCOPY auf INTERFUSION SITFL - 934266. Das Cover hat einen leichten hellblauen Strich am linken oberen Eck, der jedoch nur aus nächster Nähe auffällt - ansonsten ist das superempfindliche weiße unlaminierte Strukturcover auch in sehr gutem Zustand - vg+! Spielt super und ist absolut selten!

REVIEW: Here’s the thing about Ginhouse, totally unique with no influence from any other Prog band. Ginhouse was strongly empowered by the authoritive Sharkey vox and throbbing bass of Burlison, impressionably stamped on “Fair Stood The Wind”. This unison is apparent from the very start of their album through Geoff’s dimensional “Tyne God”, in my mind the Ginhouse glowlamp. Another Ginhouse luminary is the thudding Journey” reeling with a great synth motif played by producer Anders Hendrikson. Sharkey who had paid his dues at an early age with The Hipsters and Antics had now come to actualisation impressionably displayed on the cello & string sensitive “Portrait Picture”, an immaculate conception of the highest calibre that Sharkey dissects with deliberation.The group also covered a jazz urgent version of the Beatles’ “And I Love Her” plus a sweaty workout on “The Morning After” where Geoff plays in different tones.The Ginhouse opus comes in the form of an eerie throbbing fusion of two tracks, “The House” & “Sun In A Bottle” perhaps the same besotted creation that Audience sang about. Burlison and Sharkey scale the darkly walls of this hideous effigy with jazzy proficiency. The hard drumming Whitaker then joined the underrated Kestrel while Sharkey moved with ex Quartermass Underwood’s SAMMY alongside Audience’ Keith Gemmel.
