Note : musica e direzione orchestrale di Gino Marinuzzi Jr. 17 temi che ben descrivono il fascino, il mistero, l'esotismo della Malesia, Singapore, Indonesia e Cina, paesi teatro prima delle navigazioni e successivamente dei romanzi di Joseph Conrad al quale il documentario vuole rendere omaggio. Comun denominatore di tutti i brani un elegante sottofondo di musica orientale che va a fondersi con sonorità decisamente occidentali dando così vita ad un suggestivo intreccio musicale. Temi dolci, malinconici e descrittivi con sonorità principalmente lente si alternano a ritmi brillanti e vivaci. Tra i brani : " I LOST A WORLD " nella versione vocale, caratterizzato da una melodia dolce con influenze orientali cantato magnificamente da una sconosciuta donna in Inglese, " GIAKARTA ", tema piuttosto mosso con belle vene blues espresse dalla chitarra elettrica in contrappunto con il basso e la batteria, " AHU AHU " ritmi della giungla in un crescendo ossessivo affidato esclusivamente a marimba e batteria con un coro che scandisce le sillabe "Ahu Ahu", " FUOCHI CINESI ", una particolarissima fusione tra melodia popolare Cinese condotta dai flauti e chitarre elettriche dai suoni distorti che dà vita a una sorta di jazz orientale, " RITMICO RITUALE ", basato su un crescendo timbrico, misterioso ed ossessivo, sottolineato dalla rapidità sonora delle percussioni, " ORIENTE RITMICO " ottimo brano jazz con influenze orientali.
Notes : music and orchestra Gino Marinuzzi Jr. 17 tunes well describing charm, mystery and exoticsm of Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China, the places of the sealings and later of the novels by Joseph Conrad to whom the documentary pays tribute. The common denominator of all the tracks is an elegant background of oriental music merging with strict western - European and American - sonorities gives rise to an evocative musical plot. Sweet, gloomy and descriptive themes mainly based on a slow development are alternated by bright and lively tunes. Among the tracks : " I LOST A WORLD " (vocal version) characterized by a sweet melody with oriental influences and magnificently sung by an uncredited female singer in English, " GIAKARTA ", by a rather fast rhythm with fine blues veins underlined by the electric guitar on counterpoint with bass and drums, " AHU AHU ", jungle rhythms based on an obsessing crescendo led exclusively by marimba and drums featuring a chorus who articulates the syllables "Ahu Ahu", " FUOCHI CINESI ", a very special fusion between the Chinese traditional melody led by the flutes and the twisting electric guitars conceiving a kind of oriental jazz, " RITMICO RITUALE ", a mysterious and obsessing atmosphere underlined by the fast rhythm of the percussions, " ORIENTE RITMICO " an excellent jazz tune with oriental sound influences.
