marcello giombini: arcangelo corelli / jean francois dandrieu (pcc – italy 197?) lp ****** one of a series of strange beat/rock/prog/electronic christian albums (please see my other auctions) released in the early 70s and scarcely heard as they were mainly distributed to libraries and for liturgical use. this is a great synthetic rendition of music by the two XVI/XVII century composers by marcello giombini, possibly the greatest exponent of the beat rock mass genre (pioneering it before the electric prunes brought it to international recognition and bravely experimenting it in electronic territory too) as well as a renowned film soundtrack composer. a must for people into synthesizer music as produced by walter carlos, gil trythall, dougals leedy, gershon kingsley, etc. the records in this auction can also be of interest to people into nurse with wound, current 93, pierrot lunaire, opus avantra, juri camisaca, hnas, jim o’rourke, etc. ****** record and cover are in mint condition. ****** sorry, shipping rates have recently gone up: unregistered priority mail is about 6 euros to europe and 9 euros to the rest of the world (except for oceania where it is 12 euros), registered airmail is about 9 euros to europe and 12 euros to the rest of the world (except for oceania where it is 15 euros). please note that winning multiple items can make you save on postage. preferred payments are paypal and cash, although other options may be available. important: please wait for my invoice before sending any payment. thank you.
