***************** An extremely rare record which at one time was claimed to be his only recording (P.G.Hurst, The golden Age Recorded-1946) I believe there could be others but I have never seen any. This copy is a deceptive specimen because despite its worn appearance it plays very well and reveals a very fine voice and performance. It was recorded 1902-3, and etched under the lable are the letters G1711- B.G. The record has an Angel back with Reproduced in Hanover stamped lower centre.
