Description
Thomas L. Clear long time collector of 78 RPM records issued a series of limited editions of historic and rare performances. All were non-profit and were only available from Clear by mail, one to a customer. Editions were limited to 250 copies. Violinist Guila Bustabo was born in Wisconsin but spent much of her career in Germany including during WW II. Clear was given recording access to these performances by the Bustabo family. The works are Concertos by Wolf-Ferrari and Otmar Nussio. There are apparently no other releases of these other than the original 78s. The 12" 33RPM mono LP is minimally played but has inner sleeve rubs from years of storage. A few odd tics were heard during full audition. Other than the odd tics there is no hiss or other surface noise, graded EX. Jacket has ring wear from storage graded VG+. Booklet written by Clear is included. Note that the jacket back photo is from the concert in which Bustabo plays the Nussio Concerto, the works of Mozart & Beethoven shown in the photo are not on this record.
