Description
GLASTONBURY FAYRE REVELATIONS (UK, Revelation, REV 1/2/3, 1972) Original triple LP document of this festival featuring the Grateful Dead, Brinsley Schwarz, Mighty Baby, Marc Bolan, Pete Townsend, David Bowie, Hawkwind, Skin Alley, Daevid Allen And Gong, The Pink Fairies and The Edgar Broughton Band. An impressive line up! Please read below regarding condition and contents.
Condition:
The sleeve is a large fold out poster, this has some light edge/corner creasing and wear at the edges where sellotape was originally attached, this has caused some staining but overall it is still largely clean showing little use. I'd grade it VG+.
There are FOUR inserts (all pictured):
A fold out poster giving pictures/details of the artists involved.
A cut out "Sugar Cube"
A cut out "Dome Sweet Dome" poster
A 32 page programme/ festival booklet.
-ALL of these display little use and grade at least EX
Additionally there is a printed PVC/polythene sleeve to house everything (see photo). This is a crudely trimmed approx 12" by 12" printed piece of polythene which has been taped inside a regular clear PVC LP sleeve. This PVC sleeve is largely split at the seams and displays numerous tape markings but at least part of the sleeve is there, usually it's missing.
Discs:
Disc 1 grades EX-, some small light marks on side 1 and a couple of non-sounding light marks on 2. Discs 2 and 3 grade at least EX, NM on some sides. Aurally, Side 1, disc 1 plays with some noise in quieter parts -maybe inherent to the pressing? But all other sides play quite nicely with only a few "pops". The discs are housed in plain white inners with a few marks.
This will only be posted first class signed for in the UK at a cost of £9.50 (NOT what it says in the listing) and by International signed for overseas (£16.50 for Europe and £23.00 for the rest of the world) - Please wait for invoice, it will be packaged well and a cruciform mailer will be used.
