GLASTONBURY FAYRE - THE ELECTRIC SCORE - ILLUSIVE 3rd PRESSING - REVELATION ENT. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class "SIGNED FOR" Service.
From the Sellers private collection. Owned from new.  The seond Glastonbury Festival, from the period when it was in its infancy, latent, & semi innocent. It was all FREE  (and I was there !)  
Partially recorded in 1971 at the second festival, but released in 1972. This is a copy of Revelation Enterprises Third pressing of the Glastonbury Triple Album : The Electric Score,  which is so hard to find. This has the Dark Green Label with Yellow & Red Lettering. It has no date under the catalogue Number (Rev 1) on each Label. Identification is as follows :-  Matrix/Runout (Stamped):- Side A REV 1 42 BOBIL (Etched) :Side B: REV 1 D 1 : Side C REV 1 C : Side D REV 1 B :Side E REV 1 E :Side F REV 1 F  
Valued by RCM at £200(M) and £160 (EX) The original pressings & sets are now very rare. 
The Records are graded between Excellent (EX) to Very Good (VG) The labels information are perfect and there are no hole deteriorations.  One or two very brief clicks are audiable on some faces,  but hardly noticable. There are no visible scuff marks on any of the 6 faces as shown. They are one year short of being semi-centennial (49) Years. 
The Cover/Poster (Fold Out) is in Good (G) condition, and is not torn or split along the folding edges. It does have some wear along the folds, particularly at the intersections, with very minor splits. The inner face image by Ron Reid  is unmarked  as shown. The outer face image by Paul Misso of the pyramid, has some ring wear upon the faces  and some minor creasing & marks as shown. Designed primarly as a poster, rather than a record cover,  it is in good condition for its 49 years of use & age. 
The Paper Sleeves reflect their age, but are in good condition. The very fragil plastic outer cover for the album set, disintergrated years ago and has been replaced by an Album plastic sleeve. 
The additional items released with the album  to complete this set were:- 1, A 32 Page Illustrated Booklet 2, A Fold Out Cut Out Silver Pyrimid 3, A Fold Out Cut Out Geodesic Dome. 4, A Track Listing, which has unfortunatly disappeared.  All of these items are in excellent uncut condition.
The credits on the Album include :- Producers : Barry Everitt & John Coleman. Design: Barney Bubbles (The talented Genius),  Liner Notes: (Booklet) John Sharkey & Mick Farren, Photography: (Back Cover) Ron Reid (Front Cover) Paul Misso (Another Talented Genius) responsible for the memorable photograph of  "The Pyramid Stage of Light " that was conceived for the Fayre by (Yet, another talented Genius) architect designer Bill Harkin, at The Vale of Avelon. It formed the albums outer cover. He was also responsible for the magnificiently re-designed stage, built in 2000, to replace the previous version destroyed by fire.

5 out of the 12 Songs were recorded at the Fayre whilst the rest were recorded as stated.
This set was purchased in the latter part of 1972 from Musicland, Berwick Street,Soho, London. On the strength of the live performances by The Pink Fairies & Edgar Broughton, who I remember seeing play at the fayre. As well as the recording of the  Grateful Deads' opus "Dark Star".
The camping, hygienic & catering facilities, were (then) very primitive in comparison to the current Glastonbury set up, but of course it did not matter, as friends & individuals were there for the freedom & the music.
The musical highlights (for me) were Pink Fairies & Edgar Broughton playing the most spaced out incredible rock sets, as captured on one of the records. Not included on the 3 disc set were Quintessence, who also produced a fabulous ecelectic mix of rock, jazz & eastern ragas & rhythms. Also excellent, were Fairport Convention. All performed from the Pyrimid stage, that glowed like an electric galactic spaceship ready to take off. 
This set of music, the presentation, visuals, booklet & artifacts reflected here, are from a diferent age & time. It's from a period where individuals, young & old, sincerely believed, that music could change the world that they (then) lived in, & a genuine altenative lifestyle could be created & achieved, in opposition to the financial achieving empire, the majority craved for. 50 years later, some of those individuals achieved, are still living that dream.    
Some observations on Grading :- Mint (M) The Record is in brand new condition, no surface marks, no sound quality deteration. Records designated sealed or un-played qualify as mint.  Excellent (EX) The Record shows some signs of being played, but with minimal lessening of sound quality. The Cover &/or packaging may show slight wear &/or creasing.  Very Good (VG) The Record has obviously been played many times, but manifests no sound quality deterioraton. Despite noticeable surface marks &/or light scratching.  Visible wear & tear on the Cover or additional items, without major defects, is acceptable.  Good (G) The Record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, pehaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The Cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.  Fair (F) The Record is still just playable, but has not been cared for propery and displays considerable  surface noise; it may even jump. The Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
