This weekend is the first of two auctions of LPs from a collection I just purchased with some outstanding Punk, Post Punk and edgy/funky stuff. Overall the vinyl looks to be unplayed to barely played NM, which is as high as I will grade an LP that has been opened. I don't plan on cleaning or playing them, they're just too clean to risk it. Expect correct inner sleeves, lyrics sheets and inserts. Some of the covers show a little ring and edge wear from thirty years of storage. Hard stuff to find at any time. I grade harshly, it'd be a lot easier to call everything in here mint, but I won't do ya like that.

Albums will be shipped in mlpb12 200# test 13" x 13" x 1.5" brown corrugated mailers from Bags Unlimited designed to fit up to 12 records. They have double walled edges to help ensure safe delivery. Albums will be sleeved in new 3 mil poly sleeves and secured between custom cut sheets of styrofoam. It cost a few dollars more but it's worth it. Don't know about you, but I HATE to buy a record just to have it destroyed in transit due to an apathetic packing job. With over 1000 records shipped in the last 4 years I have had NONE damaged and plan on keeping it that way. Records shipped outside the US that sell for more than $50 will be shipped Priority International.
