Absolutely gorgeous copy of Glenn Miller's very first album ever, the 1944 78-rpm set on RCA album P-148, simply called An Album of Outstanding Arrangements on Victor Records, one of the series called Victor Music Smart Sets. Includes four 78 records featuring his most famous recordings, including the ever-favorite, In the Mood. The discs are all in excellent condition, except the first disc which I would have to call VG+ as there are some scuffs and light marks. It still plays beautifully. The rest have barely a single surface scuff at all, and play flawlessly. Really they are all just about NM. Completely beautiful discs that play without the slightest issue. The cover is in very nice condition, with some edgewear and cornerwear, and a touch of fraying on the spine. The record pockets are all split a little at the bottom so the discs poke out a little at the bottom, but they can be taped to prevent further splitting. Not bad at all. The spine is tearing a little but is still complete and fully readable. All in all it is remarkably well preserved, with crisp and clean artwork, the rare intact spine and strong binding. This is a beautiful original copy, very rare to find complete and in such condition. The discs include:

All are the original recordings, pressed with original masters and the best possible sound for any pressing that has ever been made. This is by far the best way to hear these wonderful recordings. And a truly top original copy. Hard to beat.
