Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1939 U.S. BLUEBIRD RECORDS 78 RPM RECORD containing the Big Band era all-time classic tune titled 'In The Mood' backed with 'I Want To Be Happy' from Glenn Miller and his Orchestra. It is Bluebird Records U.S. catalog number 8-10416, packaged in its original Bluebird Records stock company sleeve..
Condition of record is in the VG range with partial loss of gloss and a fair number of very light surface scuffs on both sides which have no effect on play, and a couple of light surface scratches which can be felt and which will cause a few very light non-distracting ticks. Record plays very well with the usual background surface noise usually associated with 78s and a little bit of distortion toward the end of the song. Record has no cracks, surface or sub-surface, or chips. Labels look good with no spindle marks or wear. Bluebird Records company sleeve is in about G+ condition with some creases and wrinkles, a 2" split and slightly torn area along the lower part of one edge, and a couple of other very tiny tears.
