GLORIA SCOTT (A CASE OF) TOO MUCH LOVE MAKIN' NORTHERN SOUL 45 GO AHEAD 7" VINYL
A-SIDE - GLORIA SCOTT - (A CASE OF) TOO MUCH LOVE MAKIN'
B-SIDE - GLORIA SCOTT - THAT'S WHAT YOU SAY (EVERY TIME YOU'RE NEAR ME) LABEL – GO AHEAD (2012) CATALOGUE #TICK011 FORMAT – 7" SINGLE CONDITION – NEW INFOWell here it is, probably the strongest double header release to date from the GO AHEAD label. Two huge 70s soul anthems from the ridiculously rare and highly-indemand 1974 Casablanca album placed back-to-back for the first time ever! Gloria Scott is now playing select gigs once again due to the belated exposure these songs have given her. Great music matures like fine wine and almost 40 years on these tracks sound better than ever. The album was produced in L.A by soul icon Barry White , with writing assistance from the likes of Tom Brock and arrangements from the legendary Gene Page. Two masterpieces of seventies sophistication on one limited edition 45 – accompanied as always with GO AHEAD releases by a collector’s picture sleeve with comprehensive sleeve notes about the artist and the session.
