This is an original 1968 U.S. Flaming Arrow Records 45 RPM 'Northern Soul' / funk single titled 'You Hit The Spot Baby'/'Walking With My New Love' from soul sister Gloria Walker & The Chevelles. It is Flaming Arrow Records catalog number FA-37. Records comes packaged in its original Atlantic/Atco Group stock company sleeve. 'You Hit The Spot Baby' is a great slice of late 1960s funk; 'Walking With My New Love' is a soulful ballad. Condition of record is a nice mid VG+ with a moderate amount of light surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Both labels have the name of a previous owner written in blue ballpoint and some contact wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, no tears, stickers, or other problems. This 45 would make a choice addition to any 'Northern Soul' or funk record collection!
