Priceless, stupefying album by the Italian Jazz legend and best Italian flute player ever GINO MARINACCI - a very special Italian Library OST! Music was recorded for the Rai-TV series "AMICO FLAUTO" conducted by Renzo Arbore that provided live performances by Piero Piccioni, Armando Trovajoli and Italian famed bands like Osanna, PFM and last but not least Mina. A dream team of musicians were used in this session both for live programme and studio recording: among others maestro A.Trovajoli, the killer bassist Giovanni Tommaso, trombone legend Dino Piana, the infamous organist Antonello Vannucchi (I Marc 4), percussionist Mandrake Som and more hot musicians of the time. This is the pinnacle of Gino Marinacci discography along with the insane ATOM'S FLOWERS and few others, produced by Aldo Sinesio (RRC) and recorded at Titania studios, Rome. Ultra-stylish Modern Jazz music with some bastard Hip Hop Jazz groove and outstanding Baroque Jazz sounds. Side A features Classical music themes re-arranged in a terrific Jazz mood. Side B is more Exotica oriented with refined Lounge Jazz and Bossa music. Astonishing, breathtaking B-boy punishing drum breaks with killer bassline / groovy sounding Jazz-Funk with top notch studio orchestra arrangements with flutes, organ, harpsichord and horns / smoothy and Modal Jazz tunes / Modern Jazz numbers with loads of terrific Baroque styles / Brazilian influenced music with totally catching loungy sound and seductive Bossa always played with a stylish Jazz base. The oustanding sleeve artwork by the historical Rai director and screenwriter Sandro Lodolo is the cherry on top. Key musicians of the session are represented in the gatefold too. Clip opens with the bastard Hip Hop groove "RICORDANDO BACH", one of the most important Bboy break with an unbelievable bassline, Funky flute and mindmelting drum beats. Dreamy samples for DJs and producers, this is really of the hottest shit made in Italy!  "LA CAMPANELLA" is another banger with the stunning driven beats and loads of Baroque moods; Jazz-Funk gem with gigantic studio arrangements. "PIN POM" shows all the Gino Marinacci's class with a superb flute theme accompained by several organ and guitar solos; dreamy Exotica inspired jam with addiction of Mandrake Som percussions, author of the wonderful LP "SOMBOSSA".
