Description
You are bidding on a rare, original, doo-wop rock LP from 1964 entitled, "Go Ape With The Knockouts", on the rare Tribute record label, #1202. the jacket is in good condition with light surface wear. The back white background surface of the cover has some light soiling along the edges (see photo). However, the front cover colors and photo of the band is nice. There is some moderate to heavy edge and corner wear. The left top edge at the left corner is frayed for about an inch. The same is true from the bottom edge from the left corner to the middle. There are edge splits on both the top and bottom (see photos) from the right end that go within an inch of the middle The labels are in fair condition due to light wear and moderate to heavy spindle hole wear on both sides. The vinyl is in poor plus to fair minus condition with light, general scratching, and some moderate scratching and a few light scuffs. This would be a good LP to have until you could upgrade which might take a while because it is hard to find. The back cover side has an extensive write-up about the band and its members. All of the group hail from the great Garden State of New Jersey.
