from liner notes: "Since 1974 SLY DUNBAR is undoubtedly the King of Reggae Drumming. It all started with the Al Brown Reggae Hit 'Here I Am Baby'... In 1975 Record Session Musicians came together and called themselves 'The Revolutionaries' backing such Artistes as The Mighty Diamonds, Delroy Wilson, Leroy Smart, John Holt, and many more top Jamaican singers. Sly & The Revolutionaries are known for two big hits instrumental style, 'Angola' and 'MPLA'... the idea came to Derrick (Harriott), why not an album with Sly, the rest is just music..." The ORIGINAL Jamaican 1977 vinyl is in near mint condition with no skips, no warp, no scratch. Its original Jamaican jacket is in excellent shape with no seam splits. Back of cover features 8 photos of 10 musicians working on the album. Recorded and mixed at Channel One by Ossie Hibbert, Ernest Hookim, & Maxie. Sly and wicked from top to toe. Robbie chime in too. All gone clear.
