Description
This is an Original Soundtrack LP SLS 50172 (Stereo) on the Sunset Label - Issued in the UK (- size 12 x 12 inches) to the 1964 United Artists film GOLDFINGER starring Sean Connery, Honor Blackman, Gert Frobe, Harold Sakata, Shirley Eaton,Bernard Lee and Lois Maxwell. Produced by Albert R. Broccoli and Harry Saltzman - Written by Richard Maibaum and Paul Dehn based on the novel by Ian Fleming - Directed by Guy Hamilton Music by John Barry . 'Goldfinger' sung by Shirley Bassey.
Bond is back and his next mission takes him to Fort Knox, where Auric Goldfinger and his henchman are planning to raid Fort Knox and obliterate the world economy. To save the world once again, Bond will need to become friends with Goldfinger, dodge killer hats and avoid Goldfinger's personal pilot, the sexy Pussy Galore. She might not have feelings for Bond, but will 007 help her change her mind?
The LP is in excellent condition-no marks or blemishes to either side -no spindle marks- This version is a Reissue from the 1970's -Front laminated Cover, very slight wear to sleeve (see pictures) The LP was autographed in black felt tip by the Legendary Composer John Barry on 23rd April, 1998 when he did a signing session at HMV Oxford Street, London to promote the release of his new CD - 'The beyondness of Things'. Also included is the Original Decca publicity flyer to promote this event.
