Description

This is the original UK Immediate IM 026 pressing from 1966. Formerly Goldie & The Gingerbreads this is Goldie's 'solo' record. She later reinvented herself as Genya Ravan  and fronted 10 Wheel Drive before going solo again and gaining renewed popularity with "Urban Desire" her powerful late '70s LP.

Due to a dispute with the songwriters over altered lyrics Going Back  was pulled one week after release. Unfortunate, as the single had hit potential. 

The record was played from start to finish - no skips, no jumps. There is a very tiny stain on the right side of the "A" label.(see pictures). Side "B" is clean. Light lines under light....nothing deep.

I am one of the very few people in the world that owns a complete UK 45/EP/LP collection of Immediate. I also have a complete US collection and hundreds of European Immediate pressings.

I started collecting the label in 1967and completed it in 2000. As difficult as it is to part with these treasures your well placed  bids will help me free them to a good home.
