An inspirational polymath in the late-'70s Labroke Grove scene, Vivien Goldman may have largely made her name writing for NME on the fertile common ground between punk rock and reggae, yet she took the same boundary-breaking sensibilities and used them to create a dizzying selection of music, collected on this vibrant and compelling compilation.
