This is an early seventies pressing of Angels Egg - the second part of GONG's 'Radio Gnome Invisible Trilogy' with the 'colour two virgins + red dragon' label design by the artist Roger Dean. The record is in a lavish Gatefold Sleeve with a colour Daevid Allen painting as the inner centre piece design. Details of the songs on both sides of the album are on the rear of the sleeve in a colour visualisation, again by Allen.
From visual inspection, I have graded the vinyl record as in VERY GOOD overall condition. There is one small mark which is likely to sound for a few clicks during side 1, track 5 'Giving my luv to you'. Otherwise, there are only a very few faint wispy surface marks where the record has been taken in and out the sleeve. The labels are in EXCELLENT condition with no spindle wear.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT MINUS overall condition with only the expected age related and handling discolouration common to this album because of its non-laminated white sleeve. There is no significant creasing or damage, the edges are sharp and the details are still clearly readable on the record's spine.

Very early first pressings of this album came with a 12 page book explaining the story and this is now very hard to find. This original booklet is NOT/NOT included. However, the previous owner has helpfully enclosed a COPY of the book. I stress again for total clarity the original album booklet is NOT included.

This is a very nice and unique extended album/CD package which gives a good feel for the breadth and range of the original concept, music and vibe of the time. Essential for flying teapot lovers everywhere!
