Description
GONG Est Mort, Vive GONG. Original French Tapioca label
2-LP Gatefold from 1977 of the Gong "Re-union" concert at
the Hippodrome in Paris. This was the last show with the
classic line-up of Gong which made the Radio Gnome Trilogy
LPs in the early 70's. The band includes, of course, guitarist
Steve Hillage who has his face blotted out on the group photo
due to a contractual deal with his then current record label.
What a way to go out! This is an amazing performance with
incredible sound quality. 10 tracks of INDISPENSABLE Gong.
This is PSYCH/ PROG/ Space Rock at it's finest.
