Attention all Pothead Pixies!..Demented prog-rock from the early seventies. Very eccentric psychadelia album with jazz-style improv, early synthesisers and a completely unique style make this an excellent addition to any progressive music collection.
In a Gatefold Sleeve with coloured ‘2 virgins’ label.
Daevid Allen (Bert Camembert) - guitar, vocals; Gilli Smyth (Shakti Yoni) - vocals, 'space whisper'; Didier Malherbe (Bloomdido Bad de Grasse) - sax & reeds; Pip Pyle (The Heap) - drums; Christian Tritsch (The Submarine Captain) - bass. Pyle and Tritsch left, 1972, replaced by Jaurie Allen and Francois Moze, then by Pierre Moerlen and Mike Howlett; guitar wiz Steve Hillage and synth wiz Tim Blake joined, 1972.
