Description
ARTIST: Gordon Jackson
TITLE: Hopes Wishes and Dreams
This album has been described thus: Although often described as a "lost Traffic album", Gordon Jackson's Thinking Back, upon closer examination, reveals itself to be something more. It's true that almost every track on this rare 1969 album does have Dave Mason, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood, and Steve Winwood playing on it. But what we have here is a highly personal collection of songs composed by a long-overlooked talent who was then at the crossroads of his career.
LABEL: Marmalade 608012
YEAR: 1969
VINYL CONDITION: VG (I am grading this cautiously as I think it deserves a VG+. It is very clean and tidy but it does have many hairlines. It plays well with only the occasional 'click' but the run in on track one, side one is a little 'crackly'. However, I have found this has lessened with playing so it may be a case of having the disc properly / professionally cleaned as there are no obvious signs of damage. There are only a few discernible spindle marks)
SLEEVE TYPE/CONDITION: VG (There is wear to the edges and a small one inch split in the spine. Light ringwear is present on the front and the back - See Photos)
Unless stated otherwise, this record has NOT been played to check audio quality, hence any gradings are based upon a visual assessment only. The 'Vinyl Condition' grading is stated in accordance with the Record Collector Magazine grading system. Please ensure that you have referred to that grading system and are familiar with it. Many thanks
All records will be mailed out in 'industry standard' mailing envelopes with appropriate stiffeners.
