Description
Here we have a scarce 1969 blues album on Blue Horizon from Gordon Smith called Long Overdue.The album has guest spots on certain tracks from Peter Green,Mick Fleetwood and John McVie (although not all together).The record has four visible surface marks on side on and six on side two,although they do not affect sound quality.The `A` side plays nicely with little background noise.Side two has some background clicks and pops in places on the first three tracks but after that is similar to side one.The album belonged to my uncle wh hardly played it (indeed there are no marking around the centre hole,the usual sign of heavy play).He thinks some of the marks were on the record when he bought it.I have graded the album EX+/EX but it certainly plays better than that.The cover is also in nice condition,with no wear on the spine or top and bottom edges.The front cover has a couple of minor creases in the corners but thats about it.In addition this is an early pressing with A1/B1 matrix numbers.If you have any questions feel free to ask,and I will answer as honestly as I can.
