This is the UK 1st press of Long Overdue by Gordon Smith. This is a rare MONO UK 1st Press on the Blue Horizon label, with the earliest A1//B1 matrix and the earliest laminated  Ernest J Day sleeve.


The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss, there are no signs of heavy play at all. There are just a few extremely light marks. The Blue Horizon label is extremely bold and bright with sharp text and it is exceptionally clean. There is just slight spindle wear. 


On playing the sound is sensational, wonderful clear, vibrant harmonica and guitar and rich, sharp vocals. There is a little background hiss in places but the sound is extremely clear with superb separation throughout. There is no noise that spoils the enjoyment of this LP at any point, it still sounds superb.


The 1st press laminated EJ day sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a glossy mirrored finish, the image is still very sharp and the colours are bold and unworn. There is just a little corner wear. The back of the sleeve is superb, completely clean and clear.  There is a little light spine wear but this sleeve is still solid.
