Fast and powerful US Hardcore from the East Coast. You are bidding on the first 7“ by GORILLA BISCUITS. Early label release (catalogue number 4). Label mates are WARZONE, SICK OF IT ALL, YOUTH OF TODAY, CHAIN OF STRENGTH, JUDGE and so on. This cracker was released in 1988 and features seven fantastic stompers, played with power, drive & energy. Several different pressings exist. All of them were issued in 1988. This is the third pressing on black vinyl with yellow labels and the band name printed in red ink on front of the sleeve (see scan). Complete with photo/lyric sheet. As additional, here’s the comment from the wonderful FLEX (US Hardcore/Punk discography):
- Great melodic NYHC, not too typical for that label because the hate/macho stance is missing almost completely, this rather has a slight (early) 7 Seconds touch. Of course this is “real” NYHC, though, and a real classic of that genre, they just didn’t follow the clichéd metal sound. [8]
- Obwohl diese erste GB-7” auf Revelation erschienen ist, klingt sie nicht so sehr nach der üblichen Youth of Today/NYHC-Masche (obwohl die Texte nicht gerade originell sind); man orientiert sich ein bißchen am frühen 7 Seconds-Sound; melodischer, schneller und kraftvoller HC. Sehr gut.

Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
