GOVERNMENT ISSUE "Make An Effort" 7 " EP -- Fountain of Youth Records #4(1983) -- TEST PRESSING!!

in xeroxed sleeve(as issued), vinyl is a little dusty, but never played.  Note this is the test pressing for the FIRST PRESSING!

Tracks: Teenager in a Box/Now Way Out/Twisted Views/Sheer Terror

This was originally intended to be the band's follow-up to their "Legless Bull"debut(released by Dischord).  Brian Baker of Minor Threat fame had replaced John Barry and Tom Lyle had replaced Brian Gay(the two actually co-produced the record).  Choice Cuts, a small Bethesda, MD record store, had planned to release it(a few cassette promos existed, but I haven't come across any since the early 80's), but the master tapes were lost in the mail.  After the success of GI's "Boycott Stabb",  "Make An Effort" was remixed and released by Fountain of Youth.  The two different pressings, one on black vinyl and the second on clear vinyl, in addition to having different cover art actually have different mixes of the songs.
