Description

You want SUPER RARE UK BARELY PLAYED VERTIGO SWIRL, then look no further again. This is the UK 1970 first pressing of the 'Exclamation mark' album by Progressive Mellotron UK rock act, Gracious -their debut album and now incredibly scarce particularly in this archive condition. As the cover says they supported The Who. This is again a SUPERB copy and dare I say it... hardly played at all. I can see one 'zig zag' spindle trace. In normal light the full lustre playing surfaces look pristine without any fault at all. In high intensity light there are two VERY light surface marks on track 2 only, side A  which of course are inaudible and the usual insignificant wispy withdrawal traces. Near Mint. Record 6360 002 with small machine punched matrices 1Y//1  (upside down triangle 420) and 2Y//1 (again upside down triangle 420). The textured 'bubbly finish' unlaminated gatefold cover with the large Black exclamation mark has been housed all its life in a plastic cover and so is also Near Mint which is incredibly rare with this cover which tends to get grubby being white. The inside of the gatefold features a great colur psychedelic  sketch of a nude woman, 1970 eh! Has of course the boxed VO Price Code on the back. Again being an early spiral it comes with the original anti static swirl inner bag. INCREDIBLY RARE INDEED in this archive order so best of luck to all
