Description

GRACIOUS!  1970 UK Vertigo spiral gatefold LP Vertigo 6360 002.  I don't know what issue pressing this is but you guys will tell from the label I'm sure.

The mainly whitish outer cover has a textured pimple design which along with the matt finish does tend to invite grubbiness as this example shows.  This along with slight evidence of a removed price sticker on top left are the only imperfections I can see.   I'll leave the cover for someone else to clean if they so desire.  This UK  gatefold is square cornered and tight with a fine spine and no writing, tears or splits.  The inner arty motif is clean and fresh.  So, overall I rate the cover 7/10 for condition, essentially due to the grubbiness.

The Made in England Vertigo polylined inner sleeve is a great original example and I give it 8.5/10 solely in deference to its' age.

Both the labels are clean with tight spindle holes that show evidence of several plays maximum.  The vinyl is flat and shiny.  I've angled the disc under a 100 watt lamp and several light surface marks show up (sleeve scuffs or poor handling in the past?).  However, this really is a nice record and I rate the vinyl condition a very critical 7.5/10 MINIMUM! or EXC in Record Collector parlance.  Again, because grading is so subjective I will offer the winning bidder his/her money back without reservation should my descriptions fail to satisfy. 

I'm starting at £1 with no reserve and the auction will run to end so nobody needs to ask if I want a quick sale.
