On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Graham Bond Organization called "The Sound Of 65" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS THE GRAHAM BOND ORGANIZATION'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP ALSO FEATURES SOME AMAZING MUSICIANS (BEFORE THEY BECAME MORE FAMOUS!) INCLUDING:- GINGER BAKER & JACK BRUCE - WHO BOTH WENT ON THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO FORM 'CREAM' WITH ERIC CLAPTON!!!!  THIS LP IS ALSO THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS AND '33SX' CAT NUMBER ON THE COVER AND LABELS (THE '33' PART OF THE CAT NUMBER WAS DROPPED FROM THE LABELS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!)!!!! 

HOWEVER, WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE ALL TIME RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AND THERE ARE NO GUIDE BOOKS AVAILABLE THAT WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING I AM ABOUT TO SAY, NOR IS THIS KNOWLEDGE AVAILABLE ON ANY SITE!!!!  HERE ARE THE DETAILS THAT MAKE THIS THE RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - COLUMBIA FORGOT TO ADD 'GINGER BAKERS' PICTURE CREDIT ON THE COVER BACK, AS GINGER BAKER HIMSELF DESIGNED THE COVER.  THEY ALSO ADDED THE WRONG PICTURE OF THE BAND WITH REALLY BAD LOOKING LETTERING (IT LOOKED TERRIBLE!)!!!!  THIS WAS REALISED IMMEDIATELY - AND AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURE THE 'GINGER BAKER' CREDIT HAS BEEN ADDED BELOW THE PICTURE ON THE COVER BACK, AND THE CORRECT (AND FAR BETTER!) BAND PICTURE WAS ADDED!!!!  AND THIS COVER IS FAR FAR RARER ON A 1ST PRESSING, AND OBVIOUSLY IT IS FAR FAR MORE DESIRABLE TO HAVE THE CORRECT CREDIT IN PLACE, AS IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT (DUE TO GINGER BAKERS CONNECTIONS TO BIGGER BANDS LIKE 'CREAM' IN THE FUTURE!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! 

THIS LP ALSO HAS AN ULTRA RARE PROMOTIONAL 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL!!!!  AND ALTHOUGH I DO NOT HAVE THE COMPLETE HISTORY WITH THIS LP - I HAVE EXAMINED THE STICKER VERY CAREFULLY INDEED, AND IT IS 100% GENIUNE (NOT A RE-PRINT!), AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF 'RE-STICKING' AND NO GLUE MARKS EITHER!!!!  THE STICKER IS ALSO 100% FLAT TO THE TOUCH TOO (NO CREASES ETC!) AND IS ON THE CORRECT PLACE ON THE LABELS - LEADING ME TO STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT IT HAS BEEN ON THIS LP FROM NEW, AND THE STICKER ITSELF IS DEFINITELY 100% GENIUNE IN ALL RESPECTS!!!!  BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP ONE OF THE RAREST GRAHAM BOND LPs EVER!!!!  

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND IS STILL A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  IT EVEN HAS THE ULTRA RARE 'MT' TAX CODING ON THE LABELS (MOST HAD 'KT' INSTEAD!)!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'EMITEX' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 1711 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear (apart from a TINY touch around 1 centre hole), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and still VERY bright & shiny looking indeed!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, only 3 or 4 lateral hairline type marks, NO scufflines, only a few VERY light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as almost STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a few light clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The playback is a bit noisy (as is commonly found on this LP) with some background sound on the run on grooves & gaps.  Though this is lost WAY behind ALL but the VERY quietest parts of the music ONLY - and as most of this LP is very VERY loud indeed, it is still a BRILLIANT listen!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  Most people here would grade this record 'Very Good' - but I will be very VERY strict indeed to avoid ANY disappointment and grade the record Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though it is still a very VERY presentable record, and very VERY bright & shiny looking indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Emitex' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to a couple of the corner tips, NO rips, NO tears, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY presentable cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE ALL TIME RAREST VERSION EVER MADE - AND AN ULTRA RARE PROMOTIONAL 'FACTORY SAMPLE' COPY!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
