Description
This first release by The Graham Bond Organization on the blue/black Columbia label is a first pressing on thick vinyl 33SX1711 with matrix numbers Side one XAX 2784-1N and Side Two XAX2785-1N.
The disc itself has a high gloss, a few light hairline paper scuffs and no scratches.(Please see the photographs for a better idea of record quality)
All tracks playable with no skips.There is slight surface noise to the lead in on side one and between tracks.
The original "Emitex" inner sleeve is in good condition.
The laminated Garrod and Lofthouse flipback pat pending cover is in good condition. It has slight cracking to the laminate along the bottom edge. The spine is excellent.
My name and old address are written at top left of rear of sleeve in biro.(See photo)
This record is from my own private collection. It has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp and in virtually dust free conditions since I bought it back in 1968.It was probably played only about a dozen times around that period and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.
The sound is still exceptionally good for a 40 year old plus LP.
