GRAHAM COLLIER MUSIC - SONGS FOR MY FATHER
Little played, fabulous condition 1970 UK 1st press jazz rarity
Truly excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - completely flat, weighty and retaining it's original jet black sheen. Virtually unmarked and even with close inspection under a bright light the only identifiable blemishes are a few very light, non-feelable and purely superficial very small areas of paper scuffing on the final two tracks of side 1 - nothing to impinge upon the wonderful sound quality of this record which has obviously been played only very sparingly. Pristine condition labels : if you look very closely you might just be able to detect a very small and extremely faint spindle trail on the side 2 label - otherwise perfect. Excellent plus (EX+) condition fully laminated outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, including a rigid spine with all spine text remaining perfectly intact. Each corner remains an almost perfectly defined right angle with barely any rubbing at all and all the colours, art work and text remain in near perfect original condition. There is a light vertical 5cm wide band on the front side (see photos), only really visible when the sleeve is held at the right angle in a good light, which appears to be underneath the laminate and suggests a printing error - nothing really, and for me it just adds to the collectability and very 1st press authenticity of this excellent jazz record. Apart from this the condition of the outer sleeve is hard to fault. Near mint (NM) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, distortion, interference or background crackle. Crystal clear sound quality throughout with each and every track remaining a great listen. Jazz legends in full flow with the likes of Harry Beckett, Alan Skidmore, and Alan Wakeman at the top of their game. Comes with original and correctly dated "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" poly-lined inner sleeve with no side splits and again in near perfect condition. Note that I always ship in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A brilliant 1970 UK 1st press copy of this jazz rarity - you won't find many in better condition than this!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
