Original super limited 19?? pressing on Chanita Records from Nashville, Tennessee!
Extremely rare UNHEARD funky black gospel soul GRAIL!! I couldn't find any trace of a copy ever previously surfacing!
This single cannot be found on Discogs, Popsike, Youtube, etc! This is your chance to be one of the first people to ever hear or own it!
If you're familiar with The Jackson Singers' cult classic 45, "Good News," (regularly sells for $300+) then you know how electric their music is!
The first side contains a POWERFUL rendition of a gospel soul standard, while the second side contains a DYNAMITE gospel funk track with drum breaks and heavy bass!
** Please carefully review scans and read the entire description - Don't miss this chance to own this elusive masterpiece! **
All records are cleaned and play tested on high-end stereo equipment and conservatively graded according to Goldmine standards
CONDITION: Vinyl: VG- / Sleeve: Generic
NOTES: Solid play copy! The A-Side plays VG with light background hissing and crackle, occasional patches of moderate crackle, and occasional patches of light distortion. The B-Side plays VG- with light background hissing and crackle, plus a good bit of distortion on the lead vocals. I'm not sure if this is from the surface wear or a pressing issue, but the rest of the track and instrumentation comes through loud and clear! No skips, jumps, etc. Really powerful recording, and still a very enjoyable listen if you don't mind a copy with some wear. The vinyl is nice and shiny but does have a handful of light surface scuffs / scratches. Nothing major. Labels are very clean with only very minor soiling. No writing or pen marks. Housed in a generic paper sleeve. Overall, a well loved, but strong playing copy of an EXTREMELY rare funky gospel soul gem! Don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity!
PACKAGING: All records will be carefully and securely packaged with the vinyl stored outside of the cover to prevent any seam splits.
SHIPPING: Shipping available within the United States only. All records valued over $200 will be shipped via Priority Mail. The cost is a bit higher, but the packages are treated much better to avoid any damaged / missing vinyl. All other records will be shipped via Media Mail. Shipping costs can be combined if you are interested in purchasing multiple items - message me for more details.
