On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Grand Funk Railroad called 'On Time' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Capitol label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS GRAND FUNK'S FIRST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT HAS ULTRA RARE 'WHITE' CAPITOL LABELS!!!!  AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP - AND COULD EVEN BE COMPLETELY UNIQUE!!!!  AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES - BOTH LABELS ARE COMPLETELY MISPRESSED IN WHITE - INSTEAD OF THE USUAL GREEN!!!!  THIS LP ONLY HAD 1 PREVIOUS OWNER WHO ACTUALLY WORKED ON THE PRODUCTION LINE (AS A LINE MANAGER) FOR EMI (WHO PRESSED CAPITOLS RECORD IN THE UK) IN THE 1960s - AND WAS ALLOWED TO TAKE HOME ANY 'REJECTS' OR 'OR ITEMS WITH MINOR IMPREFECTIONS'.  IN THIS CASE THIS 1ST PRESSING WASNT DAMAGED - BUT THE RECORD WAS 'REJECTED' DUE TO THE WHITE COLOUR OF THE LABELS (INSTEAD OF THE USUAL GREEN!) AND THIS LP REMAINED IN HIS COLLECTION EVER SINCE!!!!  HE ALSO SAID CATEGORICALLY THAT ONLY A HANDFUL OF RECORDS WERE EVER 'MISPRINTED' LIKE THIS - AND HE STRONGLY SUSPECTS THAT THE REST WERE DESTROYED!!!!  IN ANY CASE, HE SAID THAT NO ONE WAS REALLY TOO BOTHERED - AS THIS LP WAS PART OF A HANDFUL PRESSED AS A TRIAL RUN FOR THIS PRESSING, AND IN ANY CASE HE REMEMBERS THAT NO ONE REALLY EXPECTED THIS LP TO SELL MUCH ANYWAY (WHICH IT DIDNT!).  USUALLY LABELS ON THE EMI PRESSED CAPITOL RECORDS WERE KEPT TO THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARDS, SO HE REMEMBERS BEING COMPLETELY AMAZED WHEN HE SAW THIS LABEL ERROR - AND AS IT WAS FREE HE GLADLY PUT IT STRAIGHT INTO HIS COLLECTION!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS CAPITOL LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Capitol UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is E-ST 307 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Capitol label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, only some VERY minor fading to the text (exactly how they were mispressed in the first place!), NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely ULTRA faint touches of MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is in SUPERB condition and one of the BEST I have EVER seen!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), STUNNING shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, STUNNING flipbacks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
