Description
Up for auction is a super rare original copy of the Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five album "The Message" originally released in the U.S. on Sugar Hill Records ( SH 268) in 1982.

-STERLING mastering stamp in run-out matrix
-"Jack" etched in run-out
-No UPC/bar code on cover

Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition with only light signs of wear. Front is clean, nice shine, hint of rub top middle. Back is also clean, nice shine, rubbing top middle. Seams are nice, no splits, no cracks. Corners are sharp. Well-preserved copy! Grade: Excellent (EX).
The vinyl is also in very nice condition, still retains its original shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just a few very faint, small, superficial hairlines, mostly in the run-out, probably from taking the record out of the paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, unmarked. Well cared for and preserved, not man-handled like most copies. Grade: Excellent (EX).
