Description
Hard rocker's from Cleveland, Ohio that had quite a fan following. They traveled to New York and recorded a DEMO album at “The Record Plant”. Showcasing their talents at the Mercer Arts Theatre in New York, they got a standing ovation. RCA and Columbia records battled over the signing rights and RCA won out. But, few albums were put to print and there was very little distribution, so when they played a town few knew about this up and coming band. But, the highlight was opening for “Bob Segar” at the Michigan Palace in Detroit where fans were singing to their songs. RCA lost interest, but Columbia records had a couple promoters still wanting them for a multi album deal. Unfortunately, the “big wigs” there were focusing on a new band “Blue Oyster Cult”, so the deal fell through. They were devastated and went back home to Cleveland. Most of the guys hung up their instruments. The one album falls somewhere between "Led Zeppelin" (the voice) and today's "Tragically Hip"…..full of heavy guitar and screaming vocals. 40 years later the band reunited with other material recorded back in 1973-74 and a second album has been released.
The cover has some ring and edge wear. The record label is worn on both sides, but the record plays EX throughout.
