Description

We've picked up some new inventory and are seriously ready to offer terrific music to all our customers, old and new!  All offerings are visually graded. Should there be flaws, I will certainly describe them to the best of my abilities.  Also, I am pleased to play grade any item on request.
GRANT GREEN, GRANT'S FIRST STAND;  Blue Note BLP 4064, 1961 Original.  Mono. 47 West 63rd, NYC on label.  Rudy Van Gelder (RVG), Engineer.  Matrix Run Out (Deadwax) - BNLP-4064A - BNLP-4064B; RVG and Ear both sides. Grant Green, Guitar with 'Baby Face' Willette, Organ and Ben Dixon, Drums.  Green's first recording as a leader for Blue Note.  PLEASE NOTE:  This is not a great copy, listed for its rarity and collectibility, check photos carefully.  Vinyl G+ with multiple marks throughout.  Plays through without skips with underlying surface noise in varying degrees.  To my ear retains that Blue Note/Van Gelder dynamic high fidelity sound throughout...Deep Groove Labels VG+ with minor wear...Jacket VG/VG+, front pretty nice, retains glossy sheen with some wear at opening and on spine corners; back clean with light wear.  Words on spine very clear.  Includes original Blue Note inner sleeve. Rare Mono original!
