Description
1960s stereo reissue, although I cannot place it exactly. It has many characteristics of the 1963 issue: "43 West 61st St." address on the back cover, "New York USA" on the label. Deep groove. Etching in runout reads: (Side 1): BNST-84132-A then VAN GELDER and STEREO stamped; (Side 2): BNST-84132-B then VAN GELDER and STEREO STAMPED.
HOWEVER: NO Plastylite "Ear" on either side...(there is some etching on side 1 that I cannot read...a few lines and then the number 4). And the inner sleeve reads "27 YEARS BLUE NOTE" which puts it 1966 or later. It does not have the "Liberty Records" label of the 1968 reissue, though I suppose they could have used old labels.
VINYL: VG+, a few light marks, some sleeve rash, plays well, listen to samples from each track here:
