Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.


INSANELY RARE original Rudy Van Gelder mastered BLP 4154 first pressing from 1965 in glorious mono on Blue Note's classic blue & white label with New York USA in the upper rim text, Plastylite ear stamped in the dead wax, West 61st Street address at the bottom on the rear cover and original printed inner sleeve!!!  LP is VG-/G+ visually only with some light scuffs and a few scratches that can be lightly felt but plays amazingly well with only light background noise.  Cover is VG with a small 2" piece of thin transparent tape at the bottom middle.  


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
