Description
An original pressing of the 1962 The Latin Bit album by Grant Green on Blue Note (BLP 4111). This one also features Johnny Acea, Wendell Marshall, Willie Bobo, Potato Valdez and Garvin Masseaux.
The label reads: "33 1/3 microgroove LONG PLAYING - Blue Note Records Inc New York USA." "VAN GELDER" is machine-etched in the trail off. The matrix reads: "BN-LP-4111."
The cover has some minor shelf wear and scuffing. The top right corner is slightly dinged and there is a piece of clear tape near the top left corner (not sure why this is there -- corner is not split). There is some apparent staining along the bottom edge (toward the corners) -- but overall there is no smell of mold. There is a small "B 198" in black pen on the front cover (top left corner).
The vinyl is VG (6 out of 10, used but not abused with a couple scratches and paper scuffs). This still looks like a nice, clean record, but there is a definite scratch across the second track of Side 2. It doesn't skip on my player, but is audible. This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
