LP is in Near Mint condition.
The thick lustrous vinyl is nearly flawless, without  marks scuffs or scratches of any kind.This lp appears virtually unplayed!
The fidelity is superb, with virtually no distortion, pops, clicks or background noise of any kind.


Jacket is in NM/EX+ condition. Original heavy and glossy jacket is very nice. There are virtually no marks, scuffs, or blemishes of any kind.  There is only light wear on the bottom corners, as in image.This lp is stored in the original inner sleeve.   It was obvious at the time of his debut album as a leader, 1961's Grant's First Stand, that guitarist Grant Green was on his way to the top of the jazz world. At the age of 29, he had played with r&b groups and Jimmy Forrest's combo before Lou Donaldson helped discover him and recommended him to Blue Note. Green would be the label's house guitarist during the first half of the 1950s. This first set, which has bluish material and standards played with a trio co-starring organist Baby Face Willette, shows that Grant Green had quickly emerged to become one of the major jazz guitarists.
