This is my VG / EX condition UK ORIGINAL PINK ISLAND / ORANGE EYE copy of this RARE SKA & SOUL LP - ILPS 971. The title track has seen a rise in popularity over the past few years having been featured on one of those wonderful two disc re-issue compilations. It was aleways aclassic tune from an unusual source - The Granville Williams Orchestra, and here is a chance to own a PINK ISLAND original copy. One of the HARDEST TO FIND of all the UK ISLAND JAMAICAN related LPs. The vinyl is in great general shape with some very light surface and 'withdrawl' type marks, but no scratches or serious marks at all. It plays great with just a little noise in the quiet bits and between the tracks. A clean on a modern machine would no doubt produce a great copy! The PINK labels are clean and tidy with just a few visible spindle marks. The laminated cover looks great but is slightly worn, with a small split along 1" of the top and some laminate creases from the spine and one at the bottom. The spine is readable and firm, but has lost part of the words "Williams Orchestra" to wear. The rear of the sleeve is white card and it is still WHITE. It is tabbed on three sides and the tabs are still strong and not worn. STILL A NICE COPY OF THIS RARITY!
