GRAPEFRUIT Around Grapefruit RARE UK STATESIDE PSYCH LP
Label:- Stateside Catalogue:- SSL 5008 This is an original 1968 UK stereo pressing of this rare UK psych album. It comes in the original Garrord & Lofthouse laminated flip-back sleeve. The matrix numbers are first pressing A1-G, B1-G with 1G mother stampers/indicators. Condition Vinyl:- NEAR MINT (Fantastic top condition, this record looks almost like new! FULL TEST PLAY produced TOP audio throughout the whole album. This record has had very little play. The only thing I noted was in track 3 side 2 there is a repeat sound that last about 15 seconds. This sounds more like a short repeat hiss. I believe this is in the pressing itself as I'm unable to spot even the slightest blemish.) Sleeve:- VG (Heavy creasing on the front caused by the record rim. Also small creases around the edges. On the back some stains and age discolouration (as seen in the clear photos). Very small handwritten price on the top right hand corner. Spine is okay and fully readable.) Labels:- NEAR MINT (Superb condition, one faint spindle mark on side one and absolutely nothing on side two.) This record seldom comes up for sale and even less so in such minimally played condition as this one. Don't miss your chance.I always reduce postage on multiple items. Check out my other rare vinyls!
GRADING ABBREV DESCRIPTION MINT M The record is as new. The cover and any inserts should be in perfect condition.Many Dealers do not use this classification as A record is unlikely to arrive through the post in truly mint condition. EXCELLENT
PLUS EX+ The record is near-mint, there is no damage or visible surface marking. Under Bright Light you may see fine lines on the record, caused by rubbing on the paper sleeve. Reserve this grade for records where you have difficulty spotting anything wrong.
The Cover and inserts are undamaged. EXCELLENT EX The record may show some signs of having been played, possibly with light surface marks or fingerprints but there is no appreciable lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. EXCELLENT
MINUS EX- There may be fairly visible surface markings under bright light but the sound quality of the record is not adversely affected.
The Cover and inserts may have noticeable light creasing or "foxing" due to dampness but they are all present and intact. VERY GOOD VG The record has obviously been played a lot, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite surface marks and some light scratches. Also Use this grading where the record has suffered perhaps one more visible scratch, but is otherwise in EX or better condition.
The cover may be creased a little and/or frayed at the opening. You should itemize any more serious damage such as tears.
