THE GRASS ROOTS “WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I NEEDED YOU ” Original FIRST pressing MONO LP (1966 DUNHILL D50011 with pristine Black labels). Extremely RARE album in Highly Collectible Condition!! Full original gloss “thick” vinyl is a beautiful and very clean NrMT, and the album still has the originally issued mid sixties ABC-PARAMOUNT (parent company of Dunhill Records) inner sleeve in NrMT condition, which advertises other selections from their catalog during the time period. Extremely clean pastedown cover (very strong VG++) retains its original gloss and displays sharp, vivid colors with light corner wear and virtually No ring wear on the front of the cover. No seam splits, cut out marks, bar codes, or discount holes. Overall, an outstanding copy of this obscure, rarely offered 38 year-old debut release by The Grass Roots with a high book value (Goldmine NrMT $150). The album features of total of 12 great tracks including “Only When You’re Lonely”, “Look Out Girl”, “Ain’t That Lovin’ You Baby”, “I’ve Got No More To Say”, “I Am A Rock”, “Lollipop Train (You Never Had It So Good)”, “You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice”, “Tell Me”, “You Baby”, “This Is What I Was Made For”, “Mr. Jones (Ballad Of A Thin Man)”, and the title track “Where Were You When I Needed You”!!

VG Moderate shelf wear, light to moderate ring wear

MINT Absolutely no marks on the vinyl surface, rarely used
NrMT+ Very faint rub or two with no surface marks
NrMT No scratches or spindle marks - may have an extremely faint, inaudible
hairline or paper scuff seen only under very bright light
NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks - may have a few faint, inaudible hairlines
seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines or faint
scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips - several

All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard record mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

Insurance (Optional): $1.30 up to $50 coverage ($2.20 for up to $100). Insurance is optional, but highly recommended.
