pGrading: NM VG++ VG+ VG G Poor
This is THE GRATEFUL DEAD American Beauty LP from 1970 on Warner Bros Records Stereo WS 1893 with olive green shield labels. First US pressing. This record pressing can be found on Discogs release[r7338795]. In the dead wax, the runout on side 1 is etched : T WS-1893 1 39804-1-1 ; with a stamped Artisan Sound Recorders mastering logo; We know from the "T" that this record was pressed by Columbia in Terre Haute,Indiana.
Cover: VG++ very light shelf wear; the only noticeable defect i see are two light corner bumps at the opening, the other two corners have a tiny bit of wear but not bumped; No splits, writing or tape; no ringwear;maybe a couple short edge creases-I am groping to find something wrong and I just don't see it; most would call this NM but with the two corner bumps it comes down a little.
Vinyl: VG++ Visual Grade Some paper sleeve marks under a bright light, most of which you cannot see in regular light; no scratches; still very glossy; will play very nicely;
Label: NM No writing or stickers: no spindle hole wear or spindle trails visible
Inner Sleeve: VG++ Original printed Warner Brothers Distinguished Company with a 2" split on one side and a 1/2" split the other side;
